Balsamic Brussels Sprout Toast

Toast with goat cheese and Brussels sprouts topped with balsamic reduction


  • 1 Slice Love Sprout Live Wheat Your Heart Out Bread

  • 1 Lbs Brussels sprouts

  • 3 Tbsp olive oil

  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt

  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

  • 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tsp honey

  • 1/4 Cup goat cheese


  1. Spread goat cheese evenly on the toast,

  2. Preheat oven to 425°F

  3. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or use a silicone baking mat.

  4. Trim off the outer, dry leaves, cut the bottom off and slice sprouts lengthwise.

  5. In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper to coat thoroughly.

  6. Transfer the Brussels sprouts to baking sheet and roast until tender and caramelized, about 20 minutes.

  7. Place Brussels sprouts back in bowl. Add remaining tablespoon olive oil, balsamic vinegar and honey (balsamic reduction) and toss to coat evenly.

  8. Place Brussels sprouts on toast and drizzle with remaining balsamic reduction.
